Music to Your Ears

Our performance ensembles include a competitive marching band, beginner and advanced jazz ensembles, three levels of concert bands that meet both semesters of the school year, as well as a string orchestra.  Our academic music electives include beginner and intermediate music theory, beginner and intermediate guitar, and music appreciation.

Our students and ensembles are consistently performing at the highest levels with several students earning placement in All State Band and All State Orchestra, and our bands earning superior ratings at Colorado Bandmaster’s Association and CHSAA Festivals.  Our marching band, The Rampart Regiment, has a history of competitive success and is open to any student in our program.  The marching band is a 20-time CBA State Finalist and has been a Bands of America Regional Finalist in Utah and Arizona as well as a Semi-Finalist in Grand Nationals competition.

Many of our students have gone on to pursue degrees in music performance, music education, music technology, or composition.  Most students continue to perform in college and community ensembles after high school because of the passion for music and arts instilled at Rampart High School.

  • Thursdays 3:30-7:30 p.m. - Full Band and Sectionals with dinner break. Thursday dinner time changes with earlier sunsets around Sept. 12.
