Ensembles and Classes
Our program features four choirs of varying levels, including two treble/women’s choirs, men’s choir, and our advanced mixed choir. Students interested in participating in choir are not required to audition until ascending into the upper level choirs. Opportunities will be provided to participate in music ensembles outside of school hours for students who may not have time for choir in their day-to-day schedule. Our academic music electives include beginner and intermediate music theory, beginner and intermediate guitar, and music appreciation.
Performances
All choir students participate in two concerts per semester. All concerts contain a variety of music, from well-loved choral classics to world music, culminating in a pop music concert at the end of the year full of student-selected pieces. During the COVID-19 pandemic, students have still been able to have concerts that are produced and sent out to the public for at-home viewing.
