Library Basics

  • Students can check out up to 10 library materials at a time. Use the Follett/Destiny system to see what you have checked out.

  • Free Wi-Fi is available for all students via the ASD20network, login into the network using your you IC login information.

  • Each student is allotted a $5 print budget at the beginning of the school year, if they run out, see the Bookkeeper in the main office.

Textbooks

The Rampart LIC handles all textbooks, English novels and assorted devices for the school that are checked-out to students. Students are responsible for the full replacement value of any lost, missing, or damaged books and items.

Textbooks are issued at Check-In Day during August. After Check-In Day they will be issued from the Textbook Central Door or the Library Office.

TI-84 Calculators are also available. You'll need a note from your math teacher to get one.

How We Select Library Material

The purpose of the school library collection is to support the District's mission and vision by providing access to a wide variety of resources. Find out how we choose what goes in our libraries.

Research

For effective research, track and cite sources accurately, use reliable resources like Destiny Discover and ABC Clio, and protect shared login credentials. Access tools like PowerPass and Google Scholar for credible information, and consult teachers for assistance with accessing databases and online resources. See a variety of research tools, links and services.

Students are welcome in the library before and after school, lunch periods and during class times. Classes also meet in the library to work on specific assignments and use our print and online resources.
