"The IB Diploma Programme (IB/DP) is an academically challenging and balanced programme of education that prepares students, in grades 11 and 12, for success at College/University and life beyond. It has been designed to address the intellectual, social, emotional and physical well-being of students. The programme, has gained recognition and respect from the world’s leading universities." The IB/DP began at Rampart High School in the Fall of 1998 and graduated its first IB/DP class in the spring of 2000.

The DP curriculum contains six subject groups together with the DP core: Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS); the Extended Essay (EE); and Theory of Knowledge (TOK). The subject groups and the core elements are illustrated in the Diploma Programme model shown here.
